Participation in the Youth Day 2024 (25.02.2024, online)
On 25 January 2024 team of the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine joined the Youth Day 2024 organised by Council on Youth Affairs under the President of Ukraine in online format.
During the meeting, the key achievements of the Council’s work for 2023 were presented, as well as the cooperation plan for 2024, in particular:
- Forum-discussions of 12 working groups to update the achievements of Forum2023 and form new proposals for Forum2024
- Ukrainian Youth Forum 2024
- Information campaign for International Youth Day in Ukraine
- Support program for youth projects
During the meeting, an online discussion was also presented during the spring of 2024 with the participation of the following working groups: Diaspora youth, incl. from the number of internally displaced persons; National minorities and indigenous peoples; Young entrepreneurs; Representatives of youth in cultural and creative industries; Young athletes; Young veterans.
The meeting was joined by Svitlana SHYTIKOVA, Coordinator of the NEO -Ukraine, who presented the opportunities of the Erasmus+ Program for calls in the fields of youth and sports in order to build the capacity of Ukrainian organizations together with European colleagues. The speaker also focused on the priorities of the Program, which correspond to the current issues of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, and the local needs of youth in different regions of Ukraine.
